Reflective Space
The contemporary refurbishment of a Victorian cottage creates a tiny, enclosed courtyard within the building.
Floor to ceiling glass on 2 sides blends interior and exterior. A mellow, aged brick wall gives a backdrop to woodland floor planting scheme with ‘floating’ hardwood benches and cube tables. Large smooth slabs blend modern interior to exterior. Small sandstone setts reflect a long gone stable yard.
