Pavilion Garden
This combines restoration of existing features- pavilion, hedges, boundaries with a low impact and sustainable approach to developing a garden. The intention is that the outcome is natural and evolving.
Introduction of wild flower turf at the edges of the lawn and letting the grass grow in the centre has encouraged native plants, flower rich grassland, insects and birds: increasing biodiversity. These are supplemented with cultivated and ornamental plants, fruit trees and bushes, planted and tended as part of the natural landscape. Areas are set aside for vegetables and salad. Herbs are grown amongst wild flowers and in pots.
